Want to measure Flow and Temperature of #water and #coolant, with simple control, then take a look at the fully configurable PF3W Manifold series.
PF3W manifolds configure up to 10 #flow paths for #water or #coolant into a compact array fed by one main supply and return line. These pre-assembled #manifolds save considerable space and weight, as well as work hours required to design, procure and assemble a traditional piping network with standard fittings. Did you know? FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) pipe fittings experience significantly higher stresses compared to regular straight pipes? This makes their design and pressure handling much more complex, requiring advanced techniques to ensure safety and durability. Our latest technical guide dives deep into the intricacies of pressure design, showing you how to optimize system reliability using pressure stress multipliers and proof testing methods. Boost your engineering expertise with insights from RPS Composites that make a real difference! #FRPDesign #EngineeringExcellence #IndustrialInnovation

Does the FRP Coupling System Not Exist? 🤔 As FRP reinforcement technology advances and gains traction in the construction world 🌍, it’s only a matter of time before rebar detailers will need to tackle the challenge of detailing FRP bars. I’m excited to start bringing FRP reinforcement into the conversation within the rebar detailing community—because we’ll soon face this reality. However, after extensive research 📚 on FRP reinforcement, I uncovered something surprising: there’s currently no widely accepted, reliable mechanical coupler method for ensuring the continuity of FRP bars. 😮 In fact, only two studies (under the care of ACI) have been published on the effectiveness of mechanical connections for FRP. One study by N. Kiani and A. Nanni focused on using steel shear bolt couplers. But does it really make sense to use a steel connection for non-corrosive, composite FRP bars? 🤯 The second study by J. Hays used FRP couplers but weakened the bars by drilling holes into them to insert bolts, essentially damaging their internal structure! 😬 My question to the reinforcing community is this: Have you encountered any innovative solutions or further research on this topic? Why hasn’t the idea of using epoxy adhesives to securely bond FRP bars to couplers been thoroughly investigated? 🧐 FRP represents the future of reinforcement, with benefits like corrosion resistance and reduced weight ⚖️, but we need to address these technical hurdles to unlock its full potential in structural applications. I’m eager to hear your thoughts—drop a comment below! 💬👇 #RebarDetailing #FRPReinforcement #ConstructionInnovation #StructuralEngineering #SustainableBuilding #CompositeMaterials #EpoxyBonding #MechanicalCouplers #ReinforcementChallenges #CivilEngineering #NonCorrosiveRebar #EngineeringResearch #BuildingTheFuture

"It's Do Or Die Time, There Are No Other Options." The customer had come my way because the bid they had won included some small Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Gratings. He came to me 3 weeks after sending in the purchase order, "We cant do this project, the alloted time to get all the materials into the tunnel just isnt enough, we will never make it." I looked over the project drawings, which called for all of the support structure to be in coated steel, and said to him, "You are absolutely right, you cant do this project as specified." He looked like he was about to breakdown in tears. "But what if you proposed changing the structure to FRP?" His eyes lit up "It would be significantly lighter, meaning you could get all the materials in within the alloted time, and FRP meets all of the requirements for the structure. Its do or die time, there are no other options." Even When You Have No Options, FRP Is Your Best Option. FRP Plus. Build It Better. #construction #innovation #frp
