Manisha Moudgil, a seasoned QA lead with a decade in the tech industry, finds the most rewarding aspect of her job in aiding companies to deliver top-notch products and services to users. Her role demands a deep understanding of legal and quality standards, driving her passion for refining processes to perfection. Motivated by the transformative power of technology in driving innovation, Manisha sees it as the cornerstone of progress, simplifying tasks and enhancing productivity. In her view, the rapid evolution of technology, particularly in Generative AI, stands as the most exhilarating trend, revolutionizing industries by mimicking human creativity. With AI poised to streamline daily life through smarter devices further, the future promises boundless possibilities for innovation and convenience.

𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: 𝐌𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 I am pleased to share my experience as a judge for the Technovation Challenge, which is designed to foster interest in Artificial Intelligence among young women around the globe. As my first initiative with #EYRipples, I had the privilege of taking a front-row seat to witness the creativity and potential of tomorrow's leaders, builders, and entrepreneurs. Supporting these future changemakers as they showcased innovative ideas on leveraging AI to address societal issues such as inequality, hunger, and the climate crisis has been truly inspiring. Reviewing teams’ submissions across the three divisions for girls aged between 8 and 18, in two rounds of quarterfinals and semifinals was incredibly satisfying. In addition to being inspired by these bright young women, this also enhanced my transformational leadership skills, built my advisory expertise, and expanded my network. We are now a growing community of over 100 EY professionals passionate about using responsible AI as a catalyst to empower youth, uplift communities, and drive sustainability. Reflecting on this journey, I am certain that empowering young minds with AI knowledge can unlock unparalleled opportunities for societal advancement. It's about creating a future where innovation drives positive change. 🎤 From Shadows to Spotlight: A Moment of Revelation at a Hackathon! 🌟 As I watched the teams pitch their solutions to a panel of global leaders, I stood in the back, almost cringing at what my team was about to present. They weren’t just going to do another flashy, American-style pitch. No, they were about to share something deeply personal and, in that moment, I was terrified. But then, they got up on that stage and told their story. They shared what it’s like to be women in tech, the barriers they face, and how they’ve designed their project to inspire future generations—not just to live healthier lives, but to take on global challenges. I went from feeling embarrassed to incredibly proud in a matter of minutes. Takeaway: Sometimes, the moments we dread the most can turn out to be the most inspiring. When we share our true selves, we create connections that go beyond the typical. 🌍💡 Let’s keep pushing boundaries and telling stories that matter. In today’s rapidly changing landscape, it’s not enough to have a vision for social change - that passion needs to be backed up by excellence in execution. At Reuters Events Responsible Business USA this week, I participated in a panel about “Shifting from good intent to good outcomes”. I was able to speak to DAI’s decades long and global perspective in impact and in particular, the project I lead #StriveUSA. How do we know when collabortion can drive greater impact? ✔️When collective impact matters in tackling social problems ✔️When fragmentation threatens inclusion ✔️When partners are able to shine in their individual strengths for a network that’s more than the sum of its parts That’s what we’re aiming for alongside Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth in our #StriveUSA implementation and it is exciting to see folks resonate with our goals at this week’s conference.
