👀There are 4 types of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) Last week I posted details about Type A. Today, we are going to describe the Type B FIBC. ✅Type B FIBC solutions feature superior protection against static electricity that can be created by the flow of materials into and out of bulk bags. ✅Type B bulk bags are similar to Type A FIBC’s in that they are both made from plain polypropylene and/or non-conductive materials, and do not have any mechanism for dissipating static electricity. ✅The difference is unlike Type A FIBCs, Type B FIBCs are made from materials that have a surface breakdown voltage of up to 6kV. According to the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation on July 1, according to Announcement No. 9 of 2024 of the State Administration for Market Regulation, compulsory product certification management will be implemented for flame-retardant wires and cables from July 1, 2024. From July 1, 2025, flame-retardant wires and cables that have not obtained CCC certification and are marked with certification marks shall not be manufactured, sold, imported or used in other business activities.
