Wire and cable industry news: more regulated and standardized. According to the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation on July 1, according to Announcement No. 9 of 2024 of the State Administration for Market Regulation, compulsory product certification management will be implemented for flame-retardant wires and cables from July 1, 2024. From July 1, 2025, flame-retardant wires and cables that have not obtained CCC certification and are marked with certification marks shall not be manufactured, sold, imported or used in other business activities.
