The first time I applied to Salesforce and interviewed for a Technical Soucer role I was told “No”. The feedback given from the hiring manager was that I didn’t have enough tech recruiting experience at the time. In fact, I can tell you that most people who make it to the coveted “Mothership” go through the interview process more than once before hearing “Yes”. Don’t let that first initial No discourage you, ask for feedback! However, I observed that the candidate was engaging in voice lip-syncing, with someone else providing answers. Initially, I suspected that either my internet connection or the candidate's was causing the issue. To confirm my suspicions, I decided to ask for the candidate's father's name (😎). This led to a humorous moment with a wink (😉) and then an awkward two-minute silence (🤐). It's disheartening to see the prevalence of fake candidates and interviews nowadays due to #proxyInterviews. I kindly request Salesforce professionals not to support this unethical practice, especially when it comes to faking experience. #fakecandidate #fakeinterview #salesforcecommunity

Yes, it is happening and it is so disheartening! I also came across a similar situation with a candidate from #hyderabad recently. Dear candidates, please be mindful that when you're involved in such activities you're not just cheating a company but also destroying the reputation of your background. If an employer finds a few such candidates from a particular state/city, naturally they might think of filtering out any candidates from that state/city for any future hiring. Request you to be mindful of the direct/indirect impact it creates. Also, it's not that difficult to learn stuff provided tons of free resources are available online. #hiringproblems #salesforcedevelopers #salesforcejobs #lookingforgenuinesfdevs
