One of Deloitte's 2024 HR Tech Trends is the rise of Total Workforce Intelligence, going beyond competencies - skills inference allows organizations to look not only at their own workforce skills but the external workforce skills with a focus on industries, competitors, and skill market trends. With skills data enabled the use cases run beyond strategic workforce intelligence trends but internally across the employee lifecycle as well as enhancing the employee experience. While adoption in skills data inference technologies has begun in SEA, the technologies do tend to be headless (another trend I posted about previously).
