Today we are thrilled to announce our strategic expansion into wholesale for the very first time. Since launching in 2015, we've been dedicated to crafting the highest quality Western products at honest prices. Now we’re taking a major step forward, bringing our craftsmanship and authenticity to even more customers across the country. We’re proud to partner with nine pioneer retailers, expanding our reach to 36 store locations across 10 states, including Texas, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan. I own 6 pairs of Tecovas boots.. I’m not sure I love this. I was completely bought into the vision of the brand, direct to consumer, quality and lower prices. Interested to see how this changes the brand over the next couple of years.

Solid Tecovas pre-IPO growth strategy decision to accelerate revenue growth and increase valuation by transitioning from a digital-native and owned store DTC capital intensive model (aka the Warby Parker of Urban Cowboy Boots) to a Vuori -like hybrid DTC + Limited Wholesale Partner distribution model for Premium Western Boots and Lifestyle Westernwear. Category leaders like YETI, Deckers Brands, Patagonia and Nike have spent the last two decades transitioning from legacy wholesale partnerships (90%+ big box chains & specialty retail SIS brand shops) to a higher margin digital+physical DTC revenue mix (25%-50%+).
