The proper understanding of the present moment is not that it is all about being in it, but that all potentials exist within it. There cannot be a present moment without past and future, however this is non-linear, which means that all potentials exist in this, are accessible and to be reconciled and reshaped in the way we shape the collective field of consciousness - which primarily means the collectively shared field of thoughts, emotions, speech and collective trauma. Those of us who remain connected to that field only on a subconscious level will inevitably suffer the effects and will think they make conscious choices, while simply being in reaction to the movements in the field. However if one is too accessible to the field, one might be struck by the level of nauseating noise, confusion and unspeakable pain that drives us apart than closer together. Those find themselves in the place to be pushed by consciousness to deal with trauma on an individual level and thus also on the collective level and are prompted to meditate, do the inner work and might receive inner guidance. Hence, proper grounding is needed and that indeed connects us to earth, thus, to eachother and the present moment.

As a former teacher, meditation was one of the key skills that literally changed everything. There is a very specific moment in my 22-year career where the penny dropped on shifting my mindset. However, once I learned meditation, I stopped yelling and started remaining calm in 95% of situations. I wish some parents could get past the negative religious ideas that surround meditation because it truly should be taught as a subject at school. That's what I think, anyway. Surely it's better to help kids (AND TEACHERS) learn how to stay calm and focused, subsequently helping them become more productive in all facets of life.

Meditation is beautiful but its not easy to practice. It required passionate focused dedication and calm to reset or refresh things to start with 100% efficiency's.
