“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”
Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.
Interesting explorative focus. I tend to challenge myself systematically, which plays tricks on me at times. It's like every single time I think of a limit, something that I can't do it, I tend to tell myself: "No, that's actually possible if I want to." Meanwhile, I was initially about to comment: "Ok, I will get to it, get that insight, and implement it in my life." But I already do. Blindspot. Enlightening. Thank you so much TED-Ed. ☀️ 🙏🏽 💛 #LetsCareTogether #MentalHealth #MentalWealth™
This is especially true in the area of public speaking and presentation. The only way to conquer that fear and gain confidence is to keep doing it. Keep facing audiences. Keep being courageous until you are strong enough to almost converse with them. Then you would have done the thing you thought you could not do.
Challenging ourselves to do what we think we cannot is where true growth begins.🙌🙌✨
And that results in growth
Yes, this is so true
So true. I experience this every time I get down on the floor to play with my great granddaughter and get back up again 🤣 I am just thankful that I can still do it.
The only way out of it is through it.
