Tennis is finished, I'm gonna play pickleball now. 🎾 Think again. Ever since this sport called Pickle Ball picked up, it has actually become an enabler for Tennis, and instead of cannibalizing the popularity of tennis, rather has actually increased it 🤯 We can call it an 'Enabler'. The future of business can be compared to Pickle Ball. The perfect analogy. Is it wrong ti say that that future belongs to those services that make your entry or function into a legacy industry, simpler? Think about it. Let's discuss 👇 Do you play pickleball? #outbuds #outdote #thoughtfultuesday #pickleball #pickleballislife #tennis #lawntennis #businessreels #businessowner #womanfounder #founders #analogy #businesslessons #thoughts

I played my backhand with two hands for 40 years. At the beginning of last year I decided to learn a one-handed backhand and document the learning process. You can watch my latest YouTube video (Intuitive Tennis) and find out which problems I encountered throughout 2023 (& how I tried to fix them). Some of the issue were: 1. Blisters 2. 2-H Backhand Muscle Memory 3. Return of Serve Problems 4. High Balls Sub to @intuitivetennis for more tennis content! #tennistechnique #tenniscoaching #tennis

🎾 Unlocking the Potential: The Impact of Coaches in Tennis 🌟 In a recent research I conducted, I delved into the critical role coaches play in shaping athletes' performance. The consensus? Their influence can range from 50% to a staggering 75% or more. 📈 In the dynamic world of tennis, where players increasingly navigate their journeys solo, the presence of a dedicated coach has become paramount. 🎾 Yet, it's evident that coaches often don't receive the recognition they truly deserve. It's time to change that narrative. 🔊 Let's champion our coaches, fostering collaboration, listening intently, and advocating fiercely for their success. By elevating the status of coaches, we not only enhance the quality of play but also propel the sport forward, ensuring athletes reach their full potential. 💥 Together, let's drive the evolution of tennis, where every player, with the support of a valued coach, can thrive. 🚀 #CoachAppreciation #TennisEvolution
Elevating tennis coaches to help them reach their true potential both on and off the court. Listening to tennis coaches to create a healthy, sustainable ecosystem for all. We are excited to share more soon. Ready, Unbox. #unboxyourvalue #tennis #coach #sports

What activities put you into a state of flow? Today it was tennis for me. There is no feeling like playing a good game of tennis. I think it's about finding that balance between skills and challenge, and having a simple clear goal (e.g. for the next hour I am playing tennis - no distractions). It also helps to have the element of play 🎾 When do you feel like you're in the state of flow? How do you get there? #tennis #play #flow

Tennis tip: Changing speeds can create opportunities. - Variation can create many opportunities. You see in this point where the ball is elevated with a cross court slice at a slower speed. This makes the opponent hesitate just enough for the next ball to be hit hard and flat up the line. The change of speed creates the opening because the opponent is only slightly behind the tempo. - It only takes a small change in speed to make a big difference. So use the slice, flat ball and top spin to keep the opponent off balance. - Good luck. #tennis #tips #foryoupage

Head of Performance Coach Education & Development at LTA | Former GB Davis Cup Coach | Former Pro Tennis Player | EMCC Qualified Executive Coach
Yesterday I was delighted to host a Tim Henman Masterclass and Q&A with the former World Number 4 and a group of our Performance coaches at the National Tennis Centre. Key messages that came through: The best players hit the ball hard, run fast and do not miss - stretch these at every stage of player development. Practice makes permanent. Do the right things every session - challenge players to build the characteristics to do this. Success is about maximising potential. #performancecoaching #tennis

In our latest episode, Ivan Ljubicic highlighted a crucial insight about tennis rankings: ‘Imagine if Sinner or Swiatek took a year off, stayed fit, and practiced. Their ranking might drop to zero, but they would bounce back quickly. It’s all about the level of play!’ 🎾 Rankings are merely a reflection of performance. If you’re struggling, sometimes the best step is to take a break, refocus, and come back stronger. 🏆💪 #Tennis #ProfessionalDevelopment #IvanLjubicic #AthleteMindset #PerformanceImprovement #SportsLeadership”
