Expiration Date: While the passage of time allows for growth and progression, it similarly invites erosion and decay. This phenomenon is not limited to the material world; ideas and wisdom, too, face expiration as constantly evolving trends redefine meaning. Great talk by Sabine Specht, raising awareness about neglected tropical diseases, which cause a huge burden among the poorest communities mostly in Africa. I can’t say enough about how amazing the Multarity Project is and how much it has impacted me in a beautiful and absolutely positive way. It’s hard to describe and hard to understand until you’ve participated in a session built around conversations and different, sometimes opposing, points of view. It didn’t change my beliefs for myself but it 100% softened me to others points of view which has impacted my relationships with my children, family members (the hardest 😬), coworkers, other drivers on the road 🤣……..etc. The best way to explore how this project can be applied to yourself, projects including other people, divided board rooms, politics, hot topics in your sphere of influence, is to simply contact Dr. Carlson and and ask how this could make a difference for you. The possibilities are limitless!!

It couldn't have been more engaging and inspiring 🤗✨ A big shout out to the TEDxKULeuven team who, once again, ensured that everything ran smoothly. Their dedication, alongside our remarkable speakers and speaker coaches, really deserves an applause! 👏 However, in a world where unpredictability happens, sometimes things don't go according to planned. Unfortunately, my speaker Olumide Gbenro had to cancel at the last minute and although we're both disappointed to miss this celebration together, it's a reminder that the essence of TEDx goes beyond the day of the talk. ❤️ The real magic of TEDx is in the journey, from the initial concept of a speech, refining the message for clarity, structuring the narrative for impact, to perfecting the delivery with precise transitions, emotive voice control and supportive gestures. 🗣️ "Talk like TED" isn't just a skill—it's an art form crafted over time and through experience. “I’m not racist .. but” This phrase is often used to soften or excuse what comes next, but in reality, it reveals underlying biases.
