The next TED❌ Zurich Group Discussions will take place at Impact Hub Zürich on Tuesday, the 17 September at 17:30. TEDx Group Discussions go beyond daily small talk and bring people together to discuss big ideas. These small group conversations centre around a theme and curated TED Talks to encourage reflection, listening and learning from others. 🎙 For this Group Discussion, we will watch the talk « Your brain hallucinates your conscious reality » by Anil Seth. Right now, billions of neurons in your brain are working together to generate a conscious experience -- and not just any conscious experience, your experience of the world around you and of yourself within it. How does this happen? According to neuroscientist Anil Seth, we're all hallucinating all the time; when we agree about our hallucinations, we call it "reality." Join Seth for a delightfully disorienting talk that may leave you questioning the very nature of your existence. 🗣 Join us for this Group Discussion, meet inspiring people to discuss, share views and learn something new about yourself or others. ➡ Sign up here to join: https://lnkd.in/e-ibcViZ hashtag#TEDxZurich hashtag#TEDxGroupDiscussion hashtag#Tedx hashtag#TED hashtag#Zurich hashtag#event hashtag#learnings

Namaste! Let us talk about the past, the present and the future! Albert Einstein once said: “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.” My posts often emphasise that the long-term commitment that Sweden and India have dedicated to our joint efforts in science and innovation stands as a beacon of progress. It is important thought that while our collaboration addresses present challenges and hope for tomorrow; we must understand our history to shape the path forward. Below I will list upcoming events but before I do so, I would like us to remember that connecting our past with today's activities is key to building a sustainable future. While Sweden and India's long-standing collaboration is proof that when we work together, our future possibilities are limitless, our past needs to be connected. And in doing so I suggest we should use Ai. With advances in Ai it is today possible to connect rich data on historical events, people, objects and places with data and information about challenges of today in areas such as climate change, circular economy, life science and similar. In a sense Ai can help the past speak with today in a whole new way than before, offering patterns and connections that we haven’t seen previously and ultimately provide us with a richer understanding of both our history and current challenges. The past can help shed light on what we experience today. I would like to see much more input from the past into current deliberations on how to deal with challenges of today. More on this topic in the video. Ok, let us return to today. What do we have in terms of upcoming Swedish activities in India? 1. In November (11-14) we have 15 Swedish universities visiting India within the fields of social science and business. Trivandrum, Chennai, Bengaluru and Delhi will be visited. 2. Also in November (19-21) we have a Battery energy storage delegation with Swedish and Nordic researchers and companies meet with Indian counterparts in Pune and Bengaluru to explore collaboration opportunities. 3. In early December we hope to arrange a Joint Committee meeting in Delhi to strengthen Sweden-India strategic priorities within Science and Innovation. 4. Also in December we will arrange SheSTEM empowering young women to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 5. And for next year we expect Swedish regions to visit Indian states for collaboration and we also hope to see Swedish Ministerial visits in coming Spring fostering deeper governmental collaboration. Have a great day!

Watch the exciting video below to explore the opportunities of using AI ⬇ By using AI, we can connect historical data with today’s challenges in areas like climate change and life sciences, offering new insights and solutions. I turn Founders & CEOs into business Storytellers getting them on the world's biggest stages | 100's of success stories Globally | Executive Coach | Speaker | Author | Facilitator | Coin Carrier
Many of us are caught chasing ideas that may not work as well as they used to. Collectively, we are at a crossroads, rebuilding from years of transformative challenges and reclaiming the power to act effectively. This is the time to reflect, make creative choices, and construct our life with meaning. What will you choose? What stories are we creating now that will impact our future selves and those who hear them. Stories are powerful in retrospect, but what if you could see and create your stories and their impact in real time? When we choose to step into our agency, embracing our roles as storytellers, we wield the power to not only share knowledge but to shape the future. Our stories help us move beyond the data and the facts to tap into the emotional and human side of our audiences, making the message resonate on a deeper level. As we each make the choice to wield our influence thoughtfully, let's remember that our stories are not just tales to be shared. They are powerful catalysts for change, imbued with the potential to impact the world in meaningful ways. If you are in Toronto join us for our Live Salon on June 13th. Have you been to a Salon… if not perhaps you’re wondering what it is? A Salon is borrowed from a historical context, think Bridgerton meets TED. These events were held to incite intelligent conversations that sparked ideas, revolutions, breakthroughs and influenced change. A Salon is curated around a big question that allows us all to join in and add our voice to an important question that is facing us now. Link for ticket in comments.

Do you remember this eye-opening talk at last year's TedX ESEI School Barcelona? In her captivating TEDx talk titled “Manage Like A Human: Short Guide to Business Anatomy,” Dr. Elena Emma, crisis coach, entrepreneur, and ESEI professor, invites us to envision organizations as living entities, akin to human beings. Dr. Emma draws a fascinating parallel between organizational development and the stages of human life. Just as humans progress from infancy to adulthood, organizations evolve through distinct phases. Let’s explore this analogy: Conception (Idea Stage): Like fetal development, startups begin with a spark—an idea. They’re fragile, full of potential, and need nurturing. 👶 Infancy (Early Days): Here, organizations take their first steps. They learn, adapt, and grow. Much like infants, they rely on guidance and care. 👧 Childhood (Growth Phase): Organizations gain strength, develop structures, and explore their surroundings. Just as children learn to walk and talk, startups find their voice. 👩 Juvenile (Adolescence): Adolescents grapple with identity and independence. Similarly, organizations face challenges, experiment, and seek their unique path. 👩⚖️ Adulthood (Maturity): At this stage, organizations stand tall. They’ve weathered storms, honed their skills, and contribute meaningfully. Like adults, they navigate complexities. As we manage organizations, let’s remember their life cycle. Nurture them, celebrate their milestones, and recognize their humanity. After all, just like humans, organizations thrive when guided by compassion and purpose. #TEDxESEISchoolBarcelona #OrganizationalDevelopment #Leadership #BusinessAnatomy #HumanizingWork
