AI Transformation for Salesforce Partners | ex-CIO — Gojek Singapore, ex-MD – Gojek India, ex-BoD — Gojek Group
In any service delivery lifecycle, not just Salesforce implementation, there's constant pressure to deliver faster, with fewer resources. Here are 5 ways in which I see GenAI and agentic workflows being a gamechanger: 1. Reducing Buffers. We have to pad our estimates in every project to account for unexpected issues or delays. It's a necessary evil but also means we're never working at full capacity. But with an AI agent delivering key artefacts, those buffers can be drastically reduced. Imagine being able to give your clients more accurate timelines, without the fear of being blindsided by a last-minute snag. 2. Reducing Volatility In services projects, requirements can change quickly. A stakeholder may want a new feature, a business process may change, etc. Traditionally, that means a lot of manual rework, which can really throw off your sprint plans. But an AI agent that understands the context of your org can adapt much faster. It can suggest modifications to existing code, or even generate new code to handle the new requirements. That means less time spent on reactive work and fighting fires. 3. Leveraging Context Every Salesforce implementation is unique, with its own customizations, integrations, and quirks. As an engineer, ramping up on a new org can be a huge time sink. But an AI agent that's been trained on your org's specific context can act as a kind of instant knowledge base. It can help new hires navigate the complexity of your org much faster. That means shorter ramp-up times, and more productive sprints right from the start. 4. Increasing Resource Liquidity In a typical services project, you're constrained by the availability and skills of your team. But with agents, you essentially have an elastic workforce that can scale up or down as needed. It's like having a flexible, on-demand resource pool that you can tap into whenever you need it. 5. Orchestrating ALM pipelines In a typical Salesforce project, you're juggling multiple environments — dev, test, staging, and production. Keeping these environments in sync and managing deployments between them is a constant headache. But an AI agent could act as a kind of intelligent orchestrator for your entire ALM pipeline. It could monitor for changes in one environment and automatically propagate them to others. It could validate deployments, catch conflicts or incompatibilities, and even suggest resolutions. When you add it all up, it's easy to see how an AI agent could massively impact delivery speed and, hence, a vastly superior service experience. Agents are going to be a force multiplier IT Services has never seen before. It's only a matter of time! #Salesforce #SalesforcePartners

Salesforce Technical Project Manager | Salesforce Scrum Master | Salesforce Techno Functional Consultant | Salesforce 13x Certified | PMP ® | CSM ® | ITIL
Salesforce projects: Invest right!!! Salesforce projects require appropriate funding and decision-making. The project's stability and long-term success are much more important than its initial cost savings. A lack or absence of; 1. Good Salesforce consultant, BA 2. Good Admin with DevOps skills 3. Good QA members & disregarding the importance of; 1. Good test management tool and strategy 2. DevOps tool, change management strategies 3. Project management tool can eventually cause the issues and lead to unsuccessful projects. Also the Salesforce ecosystem is facing the challenge of onboarding skilled resources in the team these days. This is another topic of discussion and consideration. What's your experience!?

24x Certified Salesforce Solution Architect | CPQ | Einstein Analytics | Marketing Cloud | Omnistudio | LinkedIn IT Top Voice
As a Salesforce consultant, one of your responsibilities may be gathering and documenting requirements. In a world where so many projects are running on Agile methodologies, this means that you'll be writing quite a few user stories. User stories are an integral part to the project's health. Good written ones ease the burden on the client being simple to understand and reducing new improvement stories later. They also make development more straightforward as developers can find all necessary information quickly. Most important, they become a trustful documentation. Understanding how well your requirements fit an user story, how big it is, if it needs to be broken down into smaller ones, and how to communicate with the customer and the others on your team is a crucial skill to have. It's one that you'll develop the most with hands-on work, however it's also important that you dedicate some time to study. Do you agree? Tell me in the comments. And if you want to know more about Salesforce and the consultancy ecosystem, be sure to follow me.

The Blurred Lines of Salesforce BA: Bridging Consultant and Analyst Roles! 🤷♂️ I don't understand why "BA in Salesforce" is considered a distinct position. It appears to be more of a consultant role requiring agile skills. Many others may share the same confusion about why this position exists since its essentially an add-on to a consultant. In certain cases, it might also be an extension of an admin's responsibilities, yet it is becoming more and more labeled as a BA role. The term "BA" is perplexing because it could refer to business analysis or business analytics. Business analysis typically involves non-technical roles focusing on business processes, while business analytics centers around understanding company data to further support business growth and decision-making. A Salesforce BA provides business analysis with a high level overview with understanding of agile methodologies, as outlined in certifications. Although individuals gain additional expertise through experience, the question arises as to why there is a separate position for Salesforce BAs. It might be more straightforward to identify as a consultant with business analysis knowledge, rather than having a distinct role for Salesforce BAs.

I love this statement: "First, I’d like to clarify my point of view (strongly opinionated): a version control system is good at two things and two things only: managing code and enabling collaboration. When you ask your version control to manage your environments, you are doing something wrong." Generally, teams use version control to *slow down* the flow of code from development to production. We keep things in a "not quite ready" state for a long time, using branching to hang on to the changes until we're ready. Complicated branching strategies make everything in your codebase harder to think about, and so they make your code harder to change. That makes your codebase rigid, which inhibits your organization's ability to change.
One of the deliverables I dread the most, beyond the RACI, is defining the branching strategy for a Salesforce project. Not because It is a complicated deliverable but because of what it takes to convince people that it does not need to be complex. I wrote this article to help my future self, and hopefully, it will also help you. On Medium: https://lnkd.in/gf2t34bC On Substack: https://lnkd.in/gtYS3Mw2
