Army Instructor | Data Intelligence Specialist | Project Management Professional| Active Secret Security Clearance
Beginning my path towards my PMP Certification, I am starting to see my past and current experiences in my military and civilian roles through a PM lens. As an Army Instructor, incorporating the Monday app and using project management processes, I am beginning to understand more and more how the proper application of these processes can make a difference in developing a plan to train and validate a new class of subject matter experts. I am also tracking #PMXPO24 and learning a lot about plotting my path towards my certification. I recommend registering and joining the breakout sessions when you get a chance. #ProjectManagement #PMP #MilitaryTransition #ArmyInstructor #TrainingDevelopment #MondayApp #PMO #ProfessionalDevelopment

Head of Military & Veterans Program 🌟 PM Champion 🏆 Public Speaker 📣 Thought Leader 🧐 4x LinkedIn Community Top Voice 💡
I'm the person I wish I knew in the military. Someone who could educate me, even when I didn't know I needed it. Look-- I didn't know... ❌ the value of industry credentials ❌ the CAPM, PMP, or others certifications were ❌ what Project Management Institute was until late 2021 I was in the US Army, so I (𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐) knew... ✅ what WLC, BLC, ALC, SLC, and The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy are ✅ what ADP 6-22, Army Leadership and the Profession is ✅ exactly what the Association of the United States Army - AUSA did! Now... I'm replacing that "I didn't know" with "aha moments" by educating others. But, My schedule fills up quickly, because I've limited my in-person travels. So... Want to learn about #ProjectManagement Want to learn about being #JobReady Want to learn about #certifications Send me a LinkedIn message or email. I can educate small, medium, and large groups. And I'll bring 𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙐𝘼𝙇 project professionals with me 😎 It's #MyWhy The next step in on you The proverbial ball's in your court #QuickNote #BringItBack

ArmyCA is getting CUT next year! Get certified before it’s TOO LATE!!! Starting next year, soldiers will no longer have access to the $4,000 a year from ArmyCA to get certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, and LSSGB. This is a MAJOR loss in benefits as thousands of soldiers will lose access to certs that can aid both their military work but also help them in their transition to the civilian sector. However, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO GET CERTIFIED! With PM-ProLearn, you can earn two of our premier certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, LSSPM-GB) with just one year of ArmyCA funding. Once you pick your two certifications, you will have a year to attend each class and get certified, which will be plenty of time with our expert training and resources. PM-PROTIP: Earn your PMP and LSSPM-GB this year with ArmyCA, then get PMI-ACP next year with GI Bill. PM-ProLearn is the only company in the world to be VA Approved to use GI Bill for PMP and PMI-ACP, and with GI Bill you can still get all three certifications in one year! All three certifications give you the ultimate trifecta of skills and knowledge that will prepare you for any workplace and project. Learn how to get your certifications in the article linked in the comments below. This will be the last year to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, so get started NOW! Any questions about our training services or our other funding options can be answered at 301-494-3888 or training@pm-prolearn.com. #armyca #pmp #lssgb #military #projectmanagement

Army Experience Last Tuesday, 9th of July, our colleagues from four different courses — Innovative Project Management, Management, Sales Management, and Marketing — participated in practical activities guided by U.S. Army. These activities were designed to simulate challenges commonly encountered by the U.S. Army, emphasizing strategy, leadership, decision-making, and effective communication. Throughout these challenges, we gained valuable insights into resource management. We improved on our perception that both excess resources and resource scarcity can impact project success as well as set the most appropriated resource according to the needs can make the difference. Striking the right balance is crucial. Additionally, we encountered constraints that evolved during the journey toward achieving each challenge’s objective, that sometimes were modified by U.S. Army during the execution of the exercise. Change management plays a significant role during project execution. This experience provided ample amazing inputs for thought, leading to meaningful reflections for all participants! #Akron #ProjectManagement #AkronUniversity #Challenges

Why do veterans work so hard to earn military badges, warfare pins, qualifications etc for their military career, and then shy away from the difficult certifications for their civilian career. Industry respects certs and licenses that are hard to get, require discipline, and require maintenance. This is exactly why in a skills based economy industry is moving away from degrees. This is also why funding options like #gibill, #armyca #afcool, #uscgca, #mycaa are all now funding prep courses for certifications. Share your story or opinion below. Want to earn a project management certification and have a coach along the way? Check out PM-ProLearn. Small class size, one on one mentorship, exam and failure retest included. And the only GI Bill funded cert prep course for PMP and Agile in existence. training@pm-prolearn.com Chris Teodoro, MBA, PMP Chris Miller, MA, RBLP-T, U.S. Army SOF David Osborn (SGM Ret) Teresa Duncan, PhD John Tran, MBA, PMP, ACP Derrick Brooke Jessica Dunn Daniel Avegalio Mario Terenas
