One week, 168 hours (of which roughly 2/3 awake 😀). What a week it was.
On the Beaulieu International Group side of things, it looked like:
- meet and discuss the latest topics in #innovation during a one-day session on polymers and engineered solutions and a two-day session on flooring. Because sharing results, insights, methodologies and challenges speeds up innovation.
- wrap up the days with #teambuilding.
- run in-depth discussions during the steering committees of our ventures and key projects.
- work with Sioen Industries, RENOLIT, VinylPlus®, 3E on the important topic of product passports. Passports that will help in #sustainability efforts.
- run a workshop to follow up on the transformation of Beaulieu International Group.
That's already quite something, isn't it?
Well, there were also some side activities...
On the LDP DONZA side of things, we challenged ourselves too.
- Saturday April 20, our Ladies B team - where my daughter is one of the players- won the Championship in their league. In their first year of existence.
Sunday April 21 we conquered our entry ticket for the finals in the TDM1 #basketball league in Belgium. TDM1 is the highest non-professional league. A big shout out to the team!
- this meant that we had to get organized for the finals on ... Friday April 26. In telegram style: look for the right venue since our standard venue was booked for another event - work on the safety plan - sell online tickets - get the fun part in working order: music, live-streaming, ...- run the event itself with a 650 audience and over 400 unique live-stream spectators - clean up - ... Oh, and we won, which again challenged us to get organized for the game on Sunday April 28 at our neighbors of BBC Falco Gent.
- as partners, LDP DONZA took care of the live-streaming with over 600 unique spectators, of which many were watching the game with a group of people.
- LDP DONZA took the Cup home! And this for the first time in its history.
- which meant that we had to throw a well-deserved party, oh yes.
- Oh, and in between all of this we also organized a dinner & lunch event for 250 hungry kids & parents.
How is all of this possible?
The answer is #passion, #teamwork, seamless #cooperation with other organizations and the #dedication of many behind the scenes.
A big thank you to all who made this week an unforgettable moment. Pretty sure I'll forget some who made a huge contribution, but please forgive me.
