We’re deploying our freighter for Etihad Cargo — for the first time ever! Yesterday, we inked a partnership with Etihad Cargo at Air Cargo China to mutually increase capacity and frequency within Southeast Asia and to the Middle East. What does this partnership mean? ✈️ Teleport deploys our freighter for Etihad from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, adding skidded capacity to Etihad’s fleet capacity mix to better serve volume demand from Vietnam. 📦 Our customers can now move eCommerce parcels and general cargo with us from Kuala Lumpur into Middle Eastern destinations like Abu Dhabi, then Etihad will connect us beyond the Middle East. 🤝 Teleport and Etihad Cargo mutually leverage our respective leisure hubs such as Denpasar and Phuket — maximising each other’s belly capacity on passenger flights. As with all partnerships, we help our air partner widen their reach within Southeast Asia via our integrated air logistics network, The Teleport Network. Never fly empty. Teleport it. #TeleportAirPartners #airlinepartners #Etihadcargo #AirCargoChina

Mega Gulf Airlines? Fast forward 10 years into the future - 2034 perhaps? 📌 #emirates & Etihad merge into one mega super airline operating from two mega "terminals" (DWC & Terminal A) connected by high speed high volume people movers (passenger numbers exceed 250 million per year) 📌 Saudia & #riyadhair are one single airline catering to a booming religious & general tourism market! (The magic kingdom has become THE world's must travel to destination) - and BTW Boeing is now a majority owned Saudi company with headquarters in Riyadh - building on the Kingdom's focus on manufacturing & logistics! 📌 #qatarairways owns IAG (ie) all the airlines under the umbrella with British Airways the crown jewel in the west; has a controlling stake in Cathay with a large market presence in China; a majority stake in American Airlines - and is now the owner operator of London Heathrow & Beijing Airport. The consolidated airline group is now called IQG (International Qatar Group) with more than 1,000+ aircraft (Sorry, correction - at last count it was 1,549 aircraft) 📌 Talking about the low cost airline space - Air Arabia & Wizz Air have merged into one super-low cost airline with bases in all major gulf hubs! Think the above is possible? Hmmm, that's me hallucinating! Back to reality - it's still 2024 ;-) 📌 Oh, and BTW I forgot that #airindia now has a subsidiary airline based in the region called Air India & ME - which is a JV with Etisalat &, the #uae telecom giant. #travel #aviation

flydubai has added four new European routes, as outlined below. Only Basel passes the 3,000-mile barrier. P2P traffic will be supplemented by flydubai and close partner Emirates’ connectivity over Dubai. Importantly, none of the four cities are served by Qatar Airways, although they all see Turkish Airlines. - Basel: four weekly (appears to have had Dubai charters until 2019) - RIX Riga Airport: three weekly (will compete year-round with airBaltic) - Tallinn Airport (TLL): three weekly (not previously served from Dubai) - Vilnius: three weekly (will compete in the winter with airBaltic) Based on the past year and simply looking at size rather than possible airline or equipment, other unserved European cities with similar levels of P2P demand include Edinburgh (previously served by Emirates), Toulouse, Malaga, Porto (previously served by Emirates), Gothenburg, and Skopje (previously served by flydubai). Marseille is an example of a city that has limited service (in this case, by Transavia) but is underserved based on the amount of indirect pax and % of indirect pax to total. #airlines #aviation #dubai #flights
