Nonprofits often feel threatened by other organizations. They are afraid to share information about funding opportunities or critical details that could help them grow. I have heard things like: "We can't tell them about an idea we have for a program, or they will steal it." "We can't tell them about that grant because what if they get it and we don't?" The 26 in Fundsource26 Inc. represents the numerical value of G-d’s name, reminding us that all funds ultimately come from above. When we have an abundance mindset, we know that everything meant for us will come to us in the way that G-d intends. Today, on the 17th of Tammuz, a day of reflection and introspection, let's remember the power of unity and collaboration. One shining example of this is Impact24 in Toronto, spearheaded by Joseph Rutman. Impact24 is a collaboration of many nonprofits and schools in the city, enabling each other's financial growth and creating a greater impact in their community. By working together and sharing resources, we can achieve so much more than by working in isolation. Let’s embrace an abundance mindset and support one another for the greater good. #nonprofits #collaboration #mindset

"We didn't include our local community in our last strategic planning process and they noticed." A nonprofit said this to me recently with regret. One of their goals is to grow their local community support but they did not listen to them when deciding what to do next. They missed the opportunity to > Engage their community's enthusiasm for the organization > Learn about the community's needs and interests AND > Build buy-in for the new ideas the org wants to implement 🛑 This is what they forgot. 🛑 Listening isn't about letting others make decisions for you - it's about making informed decisions that include your community. Here's what I told them; If your community is a part of your goals you NEED to listen to them. When you do, you'll have the knowledge of HOW to keep them engaged and active in the ways that help your mission. While it's never too late to include your community in your decision-making, the longer you wait the farther you will be from succeeding your community-dependent goals. How do you include your community in decisions that are dependent on them?

Together we need to be taking the necessary steps to remove digital exclusion for good and build a movement for digital inclusion to ensure that no one is left behind. Our new grants programme the #VolunteerandConnect fund is supporting schools with their digital needs from WIFI costs through to digital kit.
