Before you open your work email this morning, read this 👇 Starting your day with up to hundreds of emails can be common, especially when working on a global study in several time zones. If you have ever felt overwhelmed when opening your inbox, or you never feel like you can get ahead, you have to try my system for email management 🙌 Whether starting your day or checking in on your email throughout the day, begin by: 1️⃣ Reviewing emails sent with high importance and/or anything with a subject line of URGENT (be sure to train your team to use this strategy for anything they want your eyes on quickly). Handle these first. 2️⃣ Address any emails from top leaders at your company, including your manager. 3️⃣ Address everything else. Below is my strategy for handling everything else: ▫️Filter on “from” or “sender” ▫️Delete any spam (unsubscribe from any lists you don’t need to be on while you’re at it 😉 ) ▫️Move any automated emails from the systems you access (e.g., EDC notifications) to your archive folder ▫️What’s left will be emails sent that you need to respond to and emails sent for your information. Address anything requiring your response first, followed by anything you need to review. Acknowledging all required emails within 24 hours of receipt is best practice and helps to build trust and reliability with your team. If you don’t have the full answer, let the sender know along with the anticipated timeline of when you will send them the requested information. ❕Tell me in the comments how many emails you receive on average per day. I need to know if I’m the only one amazed at how much work happens while I sleep.❕ 📈If you’re ready to become a high-performing CTM who is focused on achieving major study milestones and who doesn’t worry about day-to-day email management, join me for a FREE online master class on Monday, August 19th at 7:30pm EST. You will leave with actionable strategies for putting systems in place at work that will get you results same day and allow you to focus on what really moves the needle in your study and your career. #clinicaloperations #projectmanagement #freemasterclass #email Grab your FREE spot below ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eSqtbq7s
