Working with preclinical models of endocrine disrupting chemicals?
I'm curating a collection of methods articles on JoVE, and I'd love your submission!
This collection aims to consolidate various methodologies for delivering EDCs in vivo in animal models and assessing relevant endocrine-mediated endpoints, including, but not limited to, reproductive, metabolic, and neurobehavioral outcomes. Additionally, it focuses on the techniques used to elucidate the molecular, hormonal, and physiological mechanisms by which EDCs influence these endpoints, as well as the analytical methods essential for understanding the complex effects of EDCs on individuals.
Creating a repository of this type of information for the field of EDC research will help foster a more standardized approach to the interdisciplinary study of EDCs, support the identification of new chemicals of concern, and provide consistent, evidence-based recommendations to regulatory bodies.
