The theme for this year's AAM Summit was "The Future of Aviation | Looking Ahead at home and abroad." The first thing we developed from a design perspective was an infographic to illustrate where the FAA stands in relation to other countries and unions, from initial certification basis through operations at scale. This visual identity informed design decisions for every other element at the summit - from vertiport and stage designs, even down to the napkins and floral arrangements. A huge shoutout to William "Bo" Baker for designing every single summit graphic. Bo's raw talent, amazing work ethic, and creative genius ensured we had continuity throughout the summit while keeping the purpose of our gathering front and center for our attendees.
This week, Honeywell Aerospace Technologies hosted its third annual Advanced Air Mobility Summit in Washington, D.C. We gathered together with 250+ policy makers, regulators, members of congress, OEMs and industry professionals to discuss how Advanced Air Mobility will shape the future of aviation and what we collectively need to do to ensure this amazing technology is able to (quite literally) take flight. I’m honored to have planned and executed this event alongside Sean P. D. and many other extremely talented Honeywell team members.
