Counterfeit or substandard safety equipment poses serious risks to both individuals and property. Fake safety equipment often lacks the quality standards and reliability of genuine products, which can lead to catastrophic consequences during emergencies. For example, fake fire extinguishers may not contain the correct extinguishing agent or may malfunction when needed, failing to suppress a fire effectively. Learn, Empower, Sustain The theme of the 27th annual AMCHAM TT Health, Safety, Security & Environment conference. My key take away is psychological safety and the creation of this safe space for all employees of any company. This sets the stage for one of YARA’s key value COLLABORATION. Horizontal and Vertical communication lines become active and transfer of knowledge and information takes place….yes LEARNING Common ground and mutual respect supports ….yes EMPOWERMENT When added together this translates to SUSTAINABILITY. This is not isolated to one department or functional area of a company it’s brings gains to the whole organization. Continue to create this psychological safe space and be the conduit for the change you want to see, create and be a part of.

Our leaderships taught us the importance of reviewing our performance firsthand and the necessity of extracting lessons learned after each event. They instilled in us the principles of self-review, driving continuous improvement, and building improvement plans and programs at the end of each event to be a basis for better dealing with the same event in the future. The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) prepared a detailed study on traffic safety in the holy month of Ramadan. The study concluded number of facts and recommendations that would be a basis for building traffic safety plans in the coming Ramadan 2025. #Have a safe and secure Ramadan
