First Look at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre. Jack Sargeant MS, Minister for Culture, Skills, and Social Partnership, joined representatives from Tennis Wales, the LTA , and Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre to tour the newly refurbished facility. With over £2 million invested, including contributions from the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund, Sport Wales (£350,000), and Wrexham County Borough Council (£200,000), the centre has been transformed: ✅ 3 new padel courts – the first in North Wales ✅ Renovated reception, changing rooms, café, and gym ✅ Upgraded 9 outdoor tennis courts, with LED floodlighting on 4 courts The centre will fully open to the public soon, offering the people of North Wales their first chance to experience padel!
