For day toru of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, we are going to share a Whakataukī as this is another way we utilise te reo Māori in our mahi. Whakataukī are proverbs that the person who first said it, is not known, in comparison to a Whakatauākī, where the person who first said it is known.
