Krug Champagne is renowned for its contribution to the innovation of champagne production. They were one of the first champagne houses to perfect the art of blending wines from different vineyard plots to create a more complex and balanced final product. This process is now common practice for the traditional winemakers of Champagne, as it ensures a high quality and consistency regardless of the success of the grape yield. Last week saw the release of Krug 2011, scoring 95/100 from critics.
