Notably, Algerian Energy and Mines Minister, Mohammed Arkab, laid the foundation stone and was accompanied by senior mining government officials. The Tala Hamza Zinc Project boasts one of the world's largest reserves of zinc and lead deposits, totaling an impressive 34 million tons of exploitable reserves.
