I see my old stomping ground Garran Workspaces are recruiting a Sales/Marketing Assistant. It is a nice calm office filled with decent people, no toxicity and a good Commercial Manager as leader. What I would say to Garran having looked at the detailed job description and then the wage: You are not going to attract anyone of any meaningful calibre with that package. The people of talent are not going to be attracted by what is basically a basic administration wage for the area. You are going to attract the mediocre to at best average administrator. The best calibre people who would make a difference are not going to be attracted by that renumeration one iota. Charisma and ability come at a price. Garran should be aiming at the very best candidates to promote their spiffing top quality lockers and workspace solutions. A creative and inventive character could make a difference. Take a look at this for a minute. Yes, at the end of the day these are all just rocks- no more, no less. Now, look at all the variations, colors, sizes, etc. Picture this-if someone was digging through this lake, looking for a specific color or shape, they may not pickup the blue or red stone just because they have a plan or purpose in mind that those colors don't meet. That doesn't mean the others are not beautiful or purposeful to someone else, they just have a certain need they want to fulfill..a preference. How does this apply to sales? We all want new customers and all have goals we want to achieve. When we hear "NO" or "NOT Interested", don't let that deter you from the next opportunity. Just because you didn't fit into that companies plans or outlook for the year, doesn't mean you won't be a perfect match for the next prospect you speak to. With inbound leads generated through Marketing and demos booked in by Outreach, they showcase how Firefish can transform businesses and really add value to them. Sales also generate their own leads through new business development by building relationships in recruitment networks, through social media, sales expos, and referrals. Building rapport and solving problems are key skills that each member of our Sales Team possesses!
