The Law Commission of England and Wales has today published an important scoping paper on Decentralised Autonomous Organisations #DAOs, which considers how DAOs can be characterised and how the law of England and Wales might accommodate them now and in the future. 👉 https://lnkd.in/ekFD9Yje The paper seeks to identify current issues around DAOs to inform any future law reform or innovations. Recently there has been interesting discussions and conversations around innovative approaches to DAOs to address their key issues around decentralisation, accountability, control and inefficiencies. Stanford Professor Jeff Strnad proposes a novel solution with the "Contestable control approach". He has also joined forces with Q Development AG Foundation to address DAOs’ Governance Challenges.
