Attention all innovation enthusiasts! Glartek is thrilled to unveil its newest testimonial video showcasing Plastic Energy. Plastic Energy is a leading player in plastic and chemical recycling. They have developed a unique and innovative process in which they convert end-of-life plastic into Tacoil, a recycled oil that replaces fossil oils in the production of plastics. Their goal is to process more than 5 million tons of plastic by 2030. Together with Glartek, Plastic Energy centralized operational and maintenance procedures and digitized their training methods. As a result, they reduced training times and administrative efforts, ensuring the safety of frontline workers, streamlined processes, and ensured that all data was correctly stored and easily accessible. This was possible by eliminating non-connected methods and introducing an all-in-one digital solution. Plastic Energy also leveraged Augmented Reality to train workers and a skills matrix to help managers create, manage, and customize junior talent training. Glartek is thrilled to be helping Plastic Energy continue redefining the landscape of plastic recycling and waste management through innovative digital solutions. #plasticenergy #digitaltransformation #digitalsolution #maintenance #recycling #plasticrecycling #fossilfuels #sustainability #tacoil #waste #circulareconomy #frontlineworker #innovation #tech #industry40 #saas #plasticwaste #factory

Omniva and GreenDice have launched a packaging #recycling pilot project ♻ Reuse is important to us not only for IT equipment but also in reducing the footprint from packaging production. To achieve this, we started a project with Omniva, where all members of the GreenDice community can return the packaging, their computers are sent in for free. We began this project in May, and it has been very successful so far. We are grateful to everyone willing to return the packaging to us, enabling us to reuse it multiple times. 🌱 Many GreenDice service users have probably noticed that the devices sent to them have previously been in used packaging. We have been reusing packaging since the company’s inception, utilizing boxes left over from companies purchasing new equipment. Since waste and packaging waste are among the biggest environmental issues of our time, one of the key goals for Omniva, which operates in the logistics and parcel business, is to guide and encourage its customers to act more environmentally friendly. Therefore, they welcomed our initiative to start a pilot project for IT equipment packaging recycling and to assess customers' readiness and receptiveness to such a service. We have a good collaboration with Omniva and their used but well-maintained IT equipment finds new users through the GreenDice community. 💡 Interesting fact! By 2026, Omniva aims to offer customers only reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging from its range. #reuse #sustainability

How This Entrepreneur Turns Waste into ₹20 Crore Every Year! Ecoright is making the planet plastic-free one bag at a time. Founded by Udit Sood, EcoRight creates innovative products using eco-friendly fabrics like recycled cotton and jute. The idea for EcoRight came from Udit's upbringing in a household that avoided plastic. He wanted to create a business with a larger purpose beyond just financial gains - to merge sustainability with consumers' lives. EcoRight launched online first, targeting millennials and Gen Z. So far, EcoRight has reached 60 countries and delivered over 1.2 million bags. In the process, they recycled 310,000 plastic bottles, generated 720,000 MJ of solar power, and reduced 32 million plastic bag waste. The goal was to create attractive, reusable consumer products that fit people's lifestyles, so sustainability becomes a natural choice, not a chore. Udit's advice: Sustainability can feel overwhelming, but it's not about drastic changes - just be mindful of everyday choices. Saying no to one plastic bag or carrying a reusable bottle adds up. Together, small changes make a big difference. Watch the full video to learn about his inspiring journey. #Sustainability #EcoFriendly #GoGreen #SayNoToPpastic
