As someone in communications, I admire how the team at the Foundation for African Medicine and Education (FAME) reflects the community it serves. This ensures that every visitor feels seen and heard, and when they wish to share their testimony or story, language is no barrier.

When life takes a turn, it often leads us to where we need to be. (I was booked to speak at a major event in Florida.) Flights booked. Speech rehearsed. Then, out of the blue ... The event 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙. Expensive non-refundable flights. Plans shattered. It sucked… or so I thought. Fast forward to the week of the event: Monday morning, my daughter and her husband rush to the hospital. Their beautiful baby, due at the end of May, decided to arrive four weeks early. Divine timing. If the organiser hadn’t cancelled his event, I would have missed one of the most important days of my daughter's life. LinkedIn world, meet Teddy. Born healthy, happy, and OH-SO-CUTE! Lesson learned: When life doesn’t go as planned, sometimes it leads to the most beautiful destinations. Divine timing isn’t just about fate – it's about making the best of what life throws your way. PS: Always be ready for the unexpected blessings.
