Not everyone wants to be pitched too. I recently visited the mall and encountered a gentleman working at a kiosk. I was in a rush to get to my haircut appointment, so when he tried to show me his products, I told him I couldn't stop. Instead of pushing, he kindly pointed me in the direction of the barbershop. After my appointment, I returned as promised. Rather than diving straight into his pitch, he asked me how my haircut went. This small gesture led to a friendly conversation, and eventually, we discussed his product. Although it wasn't something I needed, I appreciated his approach. By prioritizing my experience and showing genuine interest, he created a positive interaction that went beyond a simple sales pitch. This encounter highlights the importance of connecting with potential customers on a personal level, rather than immediately trying to sell to them. #marketing #sales #customerexperience
