Trusted Advisor - Independent Insurance Agent - Better Choices for Your Business, Home, Auto & Life Protection
- My neighborhood (and several others) had severe weather this week. Please be careful of the storm chasers asking to look at your roof. By all means, if you are worried about damage to your roof, call a qualified local roofing contractor. Ask for a referral from your friends, neighbors, independent insurance agent or local Chamber of Commerce. - Roofs are a very important factor in your home insurance. Some companies are removing replacement cost coverage at a certain age or simply refusing to write new business if the roof is past a certain age. There may also be a minimum $2500 deductible for wind or hail damage. - Attached is a 4-point fact sheet about roofs in home insurance. - Ask your local independent insurance agent, like me, for further advice.

Home insurance covers the cost of repairing damage to your home caused by hurricanes, wind or hail, as well as property damage. Make sure you are protected if someone is injured at your property, as well as personal liability. It is crucial to realize that most home insurance policies do not cover flood damage. Because so many of our homeowners are in a floodplain, we strongly encourage homeowners to include a flood insurance addendum to their homeowners' insurance policy. #CentralCarolinaInsurance #NorthCarolinaInsurance #NCInsurance #NorthCarolinaBusiness #RiskManagement #UmbrellaInsurance #InsuranceAgency #PersonalInsurance #BusinessInsurance #IndependentInsuranceAgency #IndependentInsurance
