Did you know? #WoundCare is a significant concern, with patients making up 30-50% of the total population. Complications lead to higher morbidity rates, hospital readmissions, and healthcare costs. Better Access for a Few Patients Disrupts Care for Many "You had to pay the fee, or the doctor wasn't going to see you anymore." To what extent does concierge medicine disrupt primary care access? Has anyone experienced this very phenomenon? I experienced a similar situation three years back, increasing exponentially the wait to see a primary care physician, let alone get in. This raises the spectrum of haves and have-nots when a primary care shortage exists. #primarycare, #conciergemedicine, Tisha Titus, MD, MPH, #havenots, #gettingcare https://lnkd.in/enACfS2A
