Sunday, JULY 7, 2024: US National Weather Service Morristown Tennessee reports DROUGHT CONDITIONS are to worsen over the next 2 weeks. Overview / Main Points: The remnants of Beryl are forecast to track far to our west this week, limiting rainfall potential in our area Most chances for convection will be focused along the higher terrain with minimal coverage in the lower elevations most days Rainfall forecasting is uncertain this time of year due to convection, but the current indications are for most places to receive 0.10" or less over the next 7 days Beyond the next 7 days, there are strong indications (60% to 70%) for above normal temperatures to continue but minimal indications for above normal rainfall (~33%) Rainfall Forecast through Next Sunday (most places 0.10" or less)
