New members of the Panda Family have arrived! 🐼 Two new members from Sichuan have joined the #Panda Family in Ocean Park 海洋公園, and we are very excited! We used K Laser HK's F015 (Overlapping circles) to create these adorable giant pandas and their #bamboo forest. Using K Laser's #holographic patterned paper for printing not only adds light and shadow effects to the designs but also enriches the overall texture. This time, we specifically chose F015 to enhance the light and dark treatment of the bamboo forest, while the fur of the giant pandas is brought to life with a three-dimensional quality through the hologram pattern. ✨ How can you make your creations even more captivating? The Stone Island Prototype Research_Series are limited editions, by nature. They feature garments in fabrics and/or treatments born from research and experimentation processes that have not yet been industrialized. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Stone Island presents Prototype Series_08. The fabric is borrowed from the advanced industrial techniques that aim to create rigid shells for the automotive, boating and sports sectors, starting from flexible and multiaxial components. The process involves the creation of a multiaxial linen textile base as a natural reinforcement material, subsequent needle-cohesion to a non-woven fabric veil, state-of-the-art inkjet printing with pigments and double lamination of aliphatic polyurethane film. The 100 numbered print artworks - one created per garment - recompose into a large fresco, a dreamlike organic landscape reminiscent of a primordial world. The cape style is inspired by the very first Stone Island collection in 1982 – a functional reference to a military garment that could evolve into a tent.

As part of the preparation for the Epson Design Awards, we are actively engaged in the printing of the designers' fabrics, utilizing Klieverik's calenders, which play an essential role in refining the prints on textiles. The calendering process combines both heat and pressure to seamlessly transfer the ink from sublimation paper to textiles. During this phase, the ink initially applied to the paper undergoes a transformation into a gaseous state due to the influence of heat. Subsequently, this gaseous ink penetrates deeply into the fibers of the fabric and adheres to it as it cools down. The result is a durable, high-quality print in which the colors are deeply embedded in the fabric, resulting in a vibrant and long-lasting outcome. So, what's new with the launch of the Inuru Berlin-Brandenburg Factory? We believe it marks a turning point in lighting and product design. Take a look at the video below. What you'll witness is a revolution that's both visible and invisible. Why? You see, lighting has become an integral part of nearly every product, indicating their status and improving it's esthetic appeal. However, incorporating it is a complex task. No matter how small LEDs get, integrating lighting to display a logo, text, or something similar involves a complicated process. It requires using PCBs to place multiple LEDs, chips to drive them, plastic frames, light guide films, and even carving holes into products to accommodate this cumbersome setup. Now, take another look at the video below. We're introducing paper-thin lighting that's easy to integrate, requiring no extra space. What's not immediately apparent is that, for the first time in history, this kind of lighting can be printed in a manner similar to printing color. Any shape, starting in three colors. Red, Green, Blue. This represents a manufacturing revolution. If we succeed, it will transform the appearance of our world and the way we interact with everyday objects.
