Question data sources and using statistics to prove any point you want. For this example, the video shows a significant decrease in air traffic during nighttime hours compared to when it is daytime. The post claims this video shows the result of an IT outage. I selected a random airport, Dulles International (IAD) that is located on the East Coast. I picked an airport on the East Coast so you can see in the video the transition from daylight to nighttime and then back to daylight. I picked 22 July as my sample date which is 3 days after the CrowdStrike issue. Between the hours of midnight and before 0600 (0600 is when sunrise was for that day), there were 7 departures of aircraft for the entire airport. From 0600 and before noon, there were 270 departures. Question everything. One person's truth is another person's deception. #truth

This shows how vulnerable an application can be to failure, which is based on commercial flight systems, hospitals, hotels, etc. It also shows the power that a single company can have, and how few hands can manage such a network of information. It becomes a high-value element, a critical asset.
