⁉️ Continuing the previous post - The STAAD to CAD application is initially programmed in a way that it extracts data from STAAD and draft the section or plan in the ZWCAD / AutoCAD software, which was little down in the performance, and the requirement to link STAAD as well as CAD software with their dependencies and version control was difficult. 🪨 As per the suggestions from Manivannan Raman, instead of linking a CAD software directly to the program, we can try creating a DXF format of the drawing without a need of any CAD package. That was brilliant, and it brings a whole new level of customization to the application. (Thanks for the suggestion sir) Implementing the same, 💻 the program is nearly ready and the video demonstration showcase, the following cases of drafting - 1. Cross Section Drawing 2. Longitudinal Section Drawing 3. Mezzanine Plan 4. Roof Plan The sections are drawn to scale, with their length marked in the paranthesis. 🚀 Use cases for the Application: 1. Can be used to deliver the design results with the detailers. 2. Can be used for checking the design. 3. If the STAAD model is perfectly made to scale with all necessary nodal offsets, then this can act as a preliminary proposal drawing.
