Today my Executive Team and I all spent time out on patrol. Such an important day understanding what’s working well and how we can continue to improve the experience we give our Members 24/7, and of course for our wonderful team. It was also great to hear first-hand from our Members about their experiences with us. Thank you Mike Giddens for such an insightful day. I’m proud of the work you and our colleagues do every day, giving drivers confidence that they’re with The AA #itsokimwithTheAA Dean Keeling Louise Benford tom mackay Neil Blagden Gus Park Harj Johal Nick Edwards Aileen Gillan James Cox
Super insightful to get out and about. Our patrols are just exemplary at what they do. Additionally, time talking to our members at the roadside gave useful feedback and enforced just how valued the service we provide is! #itsok
Dear Jakob, apologies for contacting you here but your contact details are harder to track down than some CEO. We ve recently had a very bad experience buying a used family car from an AA authorised dealer. The dealership makes prominent used of AA branding on it forecourt and is an AA authorised car dealership using the AA website to advertise it cars. We ve subsequently found that the dealership is not registered with the impartial dispute resolution trade body the Motor Ombudsman. Why does the AA allow such traders to use your platform and particularly why do you allow traders not registered with the motor ombudsman to use your platform? Many thanks benjamin thomas
A brilliant day, witnessing all the amazing work undertaken by all our Patrols each day. In addition, talking to Members was also very valuable, some great insights into how/where we need to keep evolving.
One of my best memories of working at the AA is talking to the Patrols - their training is legendary. ‘Courtesy and care’, ‘we look after the Members first, then the vehicle’ are much more than soundbites to them. The Patrols are also an endless source of feel-good storytelling. Much as I love the new diagnostics technology, AA Patrols will always be at the heart of the brand. 💛
Excellent to spend quality time with our patrols, get close to our members and see reality of the outstanding service all The AA are delivering. Great shared experience for all of the group exec to do on the same day as well
Such a good use of time spent with our hardworking patrols. Thank you to everyone who keeps our customers on the road #AA #itsokimwiththeaa

2moWhen the AA purchased our previous company and we became one big family, , I asked if I could go out with a patrol which they kindly arranged - I remember going to the patrols house (lovely family) left my car there and went on the road. Our first call was for a motorbike. The patrol did a temp fix to it and then started to follow the rider - I asked why as the bile was ok - and he said “ he’s going back home and I’ll follow him to make sure he gets there OK - I was impressed - I have nothing but admiration for the patrols as being an ex Audi technician (a long time ago) I was so impressed with their technical knowledge - and the conditions they work under - I could never have done that
