I would always advise hiring someone for attitude over hard skills. Think of attitude like a superpower for adaptability! I’m curious to know anyone’s thoughts on this Personally, I think hiring processes are beyond outdated. I rarely ( aside from quick glance ) care what is on someone’s resume. Of course , it’s situational depending on level of the role but even at an exec level , are you really ever hiring 100% based off what the paper says? I would hope not. I’m excited to see how these processes will shift over the next 5-10 years to focus on the intangibles that make up who a person truly is to their core and not on paper.
