Much like their own children, dads can face an unfamiliar world themselves. But just as children grow and learn, so do their fathers. Together with National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC), we’re encouraging and celebrating the efforts of dads overcoming everyday parenting challenges to be active and present in their children's lives. Around the world, hundreds of thousands of children are not able to live with their birth parents, for many reasons. Many of these children who cannot often live with relatives or friends of the family. This care is known as kinship care. Kinship care is globally acknowledged as the first form of care that should be sought for children outside of parental care. It is widely used across the world. However, it is poorly supported in many countries. That's why we've published a global guidance – to lead the change! Our Kinship Care guidance explains why supporting kinship care is so incredibly important. This is the first ever global kinship care guidance paper and we're proud of the impact that this will have on thousands of children who cannot access the support they need. Data Girl and Friends | Digital Defender Parent | Empower Young Minds with Online Safety and AI Awareness
One reason I do what I do... Our society is normalizing pedophilia and empowering pedophiles and it must stop. The decisions of a few (to NOT use the tools they have at their disposal to stop sexual comments and messages aimed at children and to prioritize sexualized content in feeds, even if it's from a child) has suddenly made this kind of behavior implicitly okay. Children themselves think it's okay - why wouldn't they if it's so openly allowed? Most people are disgusted of course, but just saying that isn't enough. We must take action, aggressively and automatically block predators from children online name, shame, and leave platforms that don't keep pedophiles out intensely inform children of what a pedophile is online and why it's important to avoid them at all costs We must believe that is possible to stop this trend. I want the world to know AI can be used as a powerful tool to weed pedophiles out and ban them from social media. The more people know this, the more will point to social media companies and ask "Why aren't you already doing this?! What does that say about whose side you are really on?" #socialmedia #enoughisenough #stopharm

How any parent can justify to themselves the harm being caused to their children who are trying to get noticed on SM is beyond belief. There is nothing more important than a child's safety both on and offline. I know exactly where pics/vids of cute kids go and you dont want to be there, trust me. Keeping children away from online predators should be a FIRST thought, NOT an afterthought. Spare me 'its their passion'. Its bought on by parents wanting fame, likes and $$$. A parent said to me, "If I dont know a pedo has a pic of my child why should I worry!" #childsafetyonline #kidfluencers #Pedophiles #childabuse #parenting #parentingkids #parentingteens #socialmedia
