🌟 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗔 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄! 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄!🌟 I’m thrilled to share the innovative projects my team and I showcased at the Jigyasha 3 Science Exhibition: 🌟𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: A safety device designed to detect landmines in hazardous areas, ensuring the safety of personnel. 🌟𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲: Innovative wearables that assist differently-abled individuals with mobility and accessibility challenges. 🌟𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝘅𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: A robotic vehicle capable of navigating rough terrains, aiding in operations in mines and Naxal-affected zones. While not organized into traditional groves, these olive trees are a testament to the resilience and heritage of the Mediterranean landscape. At Olivabot, we’re on a mission to blend tradition with technology by using drones to manage olive groves more effectively. With climate change and rising summer temperatures threatening these trees, our drone imaging technology can play a pivotal role in improving yields, enabling timely action against pests and diseases, and ensuring that these trees continue to thrive for generations to come. We’d like to extend a special thank you to VU Entrepreneurship for creating an environment where networking and growth happen naturally. Here is an article from IJAST: IJAST 2023 Vol.3 No.2 Numerical Analysis of Variable Morphing Wing for Improved Aerodynamic Performance of a Predator MQ-1B Erdogan Kaygan, PhD Abstract In this paper, aerodynamic performance benefits of morphing unmanned aerial vehicle’s wing concepts are investigated. A Predator MQ-1B with variable wing structure was utilized for this study. The concept consists of variable twist (-10°< θ <10°, in steps of ±2.5°) and wing sweep (0°< θ <30°, in steps of +10°) to illustrate morphing wing’s performance benefits. All computations were performed with Athena Vortex Lattice modelling with varying degrees of twist and sweep angle considered. The results obtained from this work show that if morphing wings adapted to the Predator MQ-1B, it will provide significant performance benefits and also offer a great opportunity to reduce fuel consumption. Such an interesting morning at the Sports Engineering event hosted by AMRC Cymru yesterday! Massive thanks to Lucy Morley for inviting me along and for sharing her brilliant research with the group. It’s mind-blowing to see just how much engineering and manufacturing transform sport - helping athletes smash records, win Olympic medals, or even just take that first step towards completing a 5k run! From snowboarding to cycling and every sport in between, engineering touches every aspect of sport. It’s incredible to see the role innovation plays in helping people enjoy sport and activity! 🏂🚴👟 I absolutely love how Lucy and the team plan to use this focus on sport to inspire young people to think about careers in #STEM. Connecting the excitement of sport to engineering, manufacturing, and tech is such a clever way to show just how creative and impactful these fields can be. What an incredible way to open doors and spark imaginations! I'm also not ashamed to say I had a tear in my eye when they played a video from the Invictus Games, which showcased innovation in sport at its best and most powerful. Hearing from Jonny Ball VR, veteran and Invictus Games athlete, speak so passionately about how sport and the power of community helped him in his recovery was amazing. He really emphasised just how vital inclusive adaptations can be for opening up sport to everyone. And of course, let’s not overlook the importance of manufacturing equipment that make sport more inclusive and accessible for women too! #SportsEngineering #STEMCareers #Innovation #Accessibility #Inspiration #AMRCCymru

UAVs are very cheaper than the other aerial platform and also their give opportunity to users in operating flexibility. It can be mentioned that the cargo transportation of UAV application area has high potential to grow. Compared to traditional highway delivery methods, cargo drones can offer cost savings by eliminating the need for human drivers, reducing fuel consumption, and optimizing delivery routes. Cargo drones can revolutionize the e-commerce industry by offering same-day or even same-hour delivery options. This can improve customer satisfaction, reduce shipping costs, and enable businesses to expand their operations. The main purpose of the study is to develop a preliminary design method for a quadrotor Cargo UAV to be used for cargo transportation. Within the scope of preliminary design activities, the initial sizing, optimizations and performance analyzes of the components were made. By using these results of the design, it was observed that the number of design iterations and the design time were significantly reduced.
