I loved joining John Geraghty on his podcast, The Prism of Perspective. We discussed a critical issue for many emerging leaders - inauthentic leadership. Trying to copy another person's leadership style, even a successful person, is rarely effective. In fact, I recently worked with a leader who tried mimicking her boss's direct, action-oriented approach. Sadly, this ended up resulting in increased stress, damaged team relationships, and decreased performance. When she embraced her natural collaborative style, everything shifted. Her stress went down, her results went up, and her team thrived because she was finally leaning into her authentic leadership style. 🏆 🎙️ Check out our full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gNdiB95c #AuthenticLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #ExecutiveCoaching #PodcastGuest #VanessaJudelman #LeadershipCoach

Help me to help you in your leadership journey. This year I responded to your challenge to share my CORE leadership insights in a podcast. I did the research, listening to many wonderful podcasts in order to develop a formula that would resonate with my audiences. I wanted to use the podcast to illustrate the importance of the CORE elements of Communication, Optimisation, Relationships and Evaluation that I believe are the fundamental aspects of effective leadership – see attached summary of my CORE Leadership Programme, which has been successfully implemented in so many different teams. I believe the interview style worked well, as I was able to explore the unique paths of some highly successful leaders in many different walks of life. I have been humbled and inspired by the wonderful individuals who shared their unique take on success and their path to finding that sense of fulfilment. Finding a title was easy as I have long held the belief that Success is NEVER Accidental. We make our own way in life and it’s our responsibility to create a vision and plan and to follow it through. I also wanted to keep it short and to draw out the key lessons shared by my guests, as well as throw out a challenge to take action. So let me know what worked for you and help me to contribute to your continuing success. Please write your feedback in the comments or send to Lynne@lynnepeyton.com. #leadershipdevelopment #lynnepeyton #success #changemanagement
