When you factor in the travel to and from the airport, checking bags and security, flying can often take as long as catching the train. Sometimes the extra travel time on the train is good to decompress from a fair visit or busy few days at a festival or biennale. Especially when visiting a few in a row (Venice, Basel, Arles, etc).
