Greetings, friends concerned with well integrity. I'm sharing a challenging issue with you: In the standard well barrier schematic, we have two types of barriers: primary and secondary barriers. As we are aware, the primary barrier comes into contact with reservoir fluids. If it fails, the integrity is maintained by the secondary barrier, which includes casing, completion fluids, and other components. Now, if an abnormal pressure is detected in annulus C after running a noise log tool and channeling is identified behind the surface casing, is it possible to consider that the philosophy of the primary barrier has changed?
