In an article in VG - Verdens Gang AS, Norway’s largest newspaper, Sofie Marhaug, a member of parliament for the far-left Rødt party, wants the state to take control of the rare earth resources at the Fen field, where REE Minerals has exploitation rights.   While we don’t fully agree with her arguments in favour of state ownership, REE Minerals is open to public co-ownership as long as this increases the likelihood that the Fen field is developed and contributes to long-term value creation.
