I am thrilled to wrap up Ignite Power’s participation at #COP28 on a high note! It was a real honor to share the stage at the #US_Center with two amazing #USG climate leaders David Livingston and Jack McCaslin from the #US Department of State. Our panel, “New Climate Solutions: A Conversation with Innovators,” highlighted the critical role of innovation in tackling climate challenges. Commendations to the U.S. government for championing so boldly the climate agenda in the US and globally, with many different initiatives supporting private sector innovators like Ignite. Continued collaboration between public and private sectors is vital to achieve our shared goals. Our panel showcased Ignite’s work and other innovators, applauding recent strides in technology commercialization and deployment. The key takeaway: Ignite and fellow innovators are driving tangible progress, and with support such as from the US government leadership, we’re accelerating the journey toward a sustainable future. #ClimateInnovation #Cleanfuture #PublicPrivatePartnership #SDG7 #ZayedSustainabilityPrize

During the 78th UN General Assembly, President-Designate #DrSultanAlJaber and UN Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions Mike Bloomberg announced the #COP28 Local Climate Action Summit, which will bring hundreds of subnational leaders into the COP process. #UNGA78 Hosting this summit in collaboration with Bloomberg Philanthropies, the #COP28 Presidency will place cities and local voices at the heart of the global climate conversation to foster new, multi-level partnerships to keep 1.5°C within reach.

To accelerate #urban #decarbonization to 10,000 #cities by 2030, my "#Gaiapolis #Strategy" provides a global framework, roadmap and tech platforms. FYI, Gaiapolis is based on my "#Technopolis Strategy" book (1986 on Amazon), which was adopted from 1987 by 1,000 tech hubs, with #China, #Austin and #France's 30 Technopoles moving the fastest to create new tech jobs. Gaiapolis will be all about cities competing for $ trillions of #ESG #funding to create tens of millions of new #green #jobs, which I believe will happen fast since all #mayors need to create JOBS as #AI eliminates jobs.
