Do you ask your employees about their weekend? Is it habit or do you really care? You should genuinely care about your employees weekend. Why? Because it demonstrate empathy, builds a strong culture and will dictate how your team gets going on Monday and sets the tone for the rest of the week. If an employee had a crumby weekend, you can't fix that, BUT you can show support, and create an environment to help them ease back into the work week.
