Yesterday, our MD, Caroline Wren, had the honour of co-presenting the findings of Google's Why We Watch project at the Adwanted Events Future of Media London conference with our client Sarah Ashley, EMEA Market Insights at Google. The project was commissioned to identify the underlying reasons of why people watch certain content, and how they navigate the complexities of content choice. We found that, while the content we enjoy might have evolved beyond recognition, the basic psychological motivations behind choosing what we want to watch haven’t changed all that much.
