Some franchising thoughts on the NZ Herald's recent 'Mood of the Boardroom' report. I think the sentiment will resonate with New Zealand franchisors and franchisees generally, and within the different sectors represented. It's tough out there and whilst most will be positive about finding the bottom - we don't know what the shape of the recovery will be like. Hopefully 'U-shaped' rather than a 'bathtub-shaped curve.
How will the findings from the NZ Herald's latest 'Mood of the Boardroom' report resonate with franchisors? We ask Dr Callum Floyd of Franchize Consultants for his opinion and look at Westpac New Zealand's predictions for the upcoming OCR review. Where would you be scoring New Zealand's various industry sectors in a confidence rating out of 5 right now? https://lnkd.in/gJTh6RwU #franchisenewzealand #franchisingconfidence

Key sections: company background, fees, obligations, trademarks, and financials. Tips: Use plain English, do due diligence, and get legal advice.
