On #internationalwomensday we are proud to share that at Carbfix, women make up: 🎯 52% of the Carbfix team 🎯 50% of the Executive Team 🎯 60% of the Board of Directors It is unfortunately a well-documented fact that work by females in business, research and other fields is often overlooked and not given ample credit and visibility. On this International Women’s Day we want to shed light on the crucial role that women have played since 2007 in transforming the idea behind Carbfix into a proven technology and business. From its formalisation, the Carbfix project was led by women, first by Hólmfríður Sigurðardóttir and subsequently by Edda Aradottir who further became Carbfix’s CEO upon its incorporation in 2019. Six female researchers devoted their PhD’s programs to research related to Carbfix, including Sandra Ósk Snæbjörnsdóttir, Chief Scientist of Carbfix, and Iwona Gałeczka, Geochemist and Reservoir expert at Carbfix and Chiara Marieni, Geochemist and Program Manager of Commercial Studies, who did her Post Doc related to Carbfix. We will continue our efforts in ensuring equal representation at all levels within our organization, aligning with our goal of not having any gender comprise more than 60% of our workforce, BOD and leaders. #inspireinclusion

As we reflect on our journey in 2023, we are proud to share Organon's significant strides in 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (ESG) initiatives that align with our mission to advance women's health globally. Key Highlights: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆: We have successfully completed nine strategic transactions since our founding, including two in 2023, aimed at enhancing access to women's health solutions. Our Her Promise Access Initiative has already helped prevent approximately 65 million unintended pregnancies, moving us closer to our goal of 120 million by 2030. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁: We reduced our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 6.6% against a 2020 baseline and exceeded our operational waste recycling goal by reusing or recycling 93% of waste from our manufacturing sites. Our commitment to sustainability is further strengthened by a partnership with Schneider Electric to secure renewable energy for our operations. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁: Our dedication to gender equity is reflected in achieving a female representation of 47% in director-level roles and maintaining nearly 70% women on our Board since inception. Additionally, we achieved 100% pay equity across nine major markets. We are honored to be recognized on Fortune's 2023 Change the World list for our leadership in expanding access to contraceptive choice, reinforcing our commitment to addressing health disparities faced by women worldwide.
