#economics #unitedstates America’s financiers, our monied men, may be far too prematurely making peace with one of their own: Donald Trump, conceding the 2024 General Election, looking out for their own interest. The Obama-Biden Democrats, in particular Biden more than Obama, is seen as socialist and “woke” because he wants to rebuild America’s middle class, does not like unemployment, renew infrastructure, domestic supply chain, and invest in adapting to and mitigating climate change. The Ivy League educated Clinton, Bush, and Obama and their elites are bi-partisan birds of the same feather. Work hard and play by the rules is good enough to succeed in America and Putting People First from the 1992 election have gone to hell in a hand basket by 2020 in the spoils system to share the spoils from the Cold War victory. Biden, but for the Clinton-Bush-Obama wars and Trump support for Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, belongs more with Carter than with his predecessors. So, they are not letting him live. The foreign wars have taken precedence over American renewal #bidenomics which threatens to supersede the establishmentarian legacies of Reaganomics and Clintonomics, with Nikki Haley struggling to breakaway from Reagan/Clinton on one hand and Trump on the other, blooping by campaign confusion under oppressive and hostile Republican National Committee (RNC) support for Trump. This leaves Vice President Kamala Harris as Biden’s heir. The Trump tail is wagging the Republican dog, and Wall Street is voting against Washington dysfunction forgetting its own dysfunction and in retaliation to Obama’s woke. Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave a speech in Manhattan before he had to resign invoking Ronald Reagan. After he resigned he endorsed Trump. The American interest and allegiance has always been unwavering in only two things, and not in any Washington interest groups: 1. The Declaration of Independence. 2. The Constitution. These two have enabled America’s wealth and wealthy. Donald Trump believes in neither. He is not in the American interest. Trump could get elected if nominated, pardon himself and his co-conspirators, and if the Democrats in Congress do not cooperate, can even go so far as to abrogate parts of the Constitution by executive order, undoing America’s founding both at home and abroad, which will be very difficult to restore. The country can live with deporting illegal aliens and Christianity but not a dictatorship in the White House. The first bi-partisan order of business for America’s monied men, therefore, is to prevent a Trump nomination because it is not a foregone conclusion nor should it be.

HARRIS HAS HER MOMENT, TRUMP HAS ATTACKS AT THE READY 🤛 🤜 👀WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW? 👋It's a big Monday for some investors as Joe Biden (81) has unexpectedly dropped out of the US presidential race after weeks of insisting he would stay. 🙋♀️Vice President Kamala Harris (59) now has Biden’s backing as the Democratic nominee, making her the first Black woman and first person of South Asian descent to be a major-party nominee if elected. 👀HARRIS (MAY) BE AT A RISK. WHY? 📉 Despite Harris's historic candidacy, her approval ratings are as low as Biden’s, and she performs similarly to him in matchups against Donald Trump. ⚠ Harris has faced challenges as vice president, dealing with the migration crisis and abortion issues, but some see her as lacking a clear vision. 👀ARE YOU READY FOR THE TRUMP-TRADE? Economists and traders widely anticipate that a Trump administration would prioritize some policies : ✍tax cuts, ✍bolstered domestic energy production, ✍tougher stance on trade policies & tariffs, ✍labor policies and the minimum wage (eliminat the immigrant) Trump administration is expected to favor oil companies, healthcare firms, and automakers due to reduced regulations and favorable trade conditions. 📈 Moreover, Trump's pro-cryptocurrency stance also contrasts with Biden's regulatory approach, potentially benefiting the crypto sector. One of them is Solana (SOL) as the ETF Narrative is getting stronger. Wanna read the details --> Just click here (https://lnkd.in/gMyrFB7J) 👀 TOO EARLY TOO TELL THE WINNER, BUT THE VOLATILITY IS HERE! Wel.. The candidates for this election are still unclear. Will it be Harris vs. Trump, or will a new contender appear? It's too soon to say if Harris will lose early. One thing for sure.. The Democratic nominee remains uncertain, and the market dislikes uncertainty, adding to investor discomfort. So, get ready for the other volatilities. 🤔What's in your thought? Who will lead this race? Source : Real Clear Polling, BBC, Bloomberg, Investing.com #biden #uselection #trump #harris #tradewar #economy #stockmarket #cryptocurrency

"Am I a WHAT?!?" The crazy question they asked at my grad school orientation... When I started grad school at The George Washington University's The Graduate School of Political Management, here is one of the first things they asked us in orientation: "Who is a Republican? Ok and Democrats? Others?" I didn't raise my hand at all because I was a bit shocked. I grew up in a place and culture where politics were discussed but you didn't really ask someone's party affiliation. I'm not sure it was considered rude, but I don't think people, even back then, wanted to be labeled one way or another. Thus began my education in politics. And that, along with other experiences, has led me to look at politics much like a scientist looks at interesting developments in a Petri dish. I find the strategy and tactics of all sides interesting. And I comment on all sides, good, bad, or ugly. (Lots of ugly this go around 🤣 ) And I will be the first to admit that I tend to forget how emotional people can get over politics. And that doesn't mean I don't have personal opinions on things, which I would happily share. But just because I am quoted in a story, be careful not to assume my personal preference. I would likely surprise you, for better or worse 😉 . “Any advantage one of the campaigns can gain over the other, especially in active communities like crypto, may mean the difference between victory and defeat in November,” said Ryan Waite, vice president of public affairs at digital advocacy firm Think Big. #politics #election #election2024 #publicaffairs #governmentaffairs #advocacy #bipartisan #nonpartisan #allpartisan

𝗝. 𝗗. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 Excerpts: "Former president Donald Trump’s selection of Ohio senator J. D. Vance as his running mate has generated much commentary. The mainstream media has tried to frame Vance as a postliberal 'threat to democracy,' while Trump’s supporters have celebrated him as a bridge to a new generation." "But there is a deeper story here. The Vance selection is not a gambit to secure a particular demographic or region—white men are Trump’s base; Ohio is a safe red state—but an effort to cultivate an emerging counter-elite that could make the second Trump administration substantially more effective than the first." "This story is built into J. D. Vance’s biographical arc. He was the all-American kid who rose from humble beginnings to make his way in the world: the Marines; Yale Law; venture capital; a best-selling book. He learned the language of the prestige institutions, cultivated powerful patrons, and quickly climbed the ladder in academia, finance, and business. He had made it." "Then, his story takes a turn. Having entered the ranks of America’s elite, Vance became disillusioned and disenchanted with it, correctly identifying it as a force of hypocrisy and corruption. He defected—first, by parting ways with the respectable conservatism of the Beltway, and then by embracing Donald Trump." "𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝘆𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲. 𝗔 𝗰𝘆𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿é𝘀𝘂𝗺é; 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗺, 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄, 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱." "Now, not only has Vance been selected as a vice-presidential nominee; more significantly, he has charted the path for an emerging new conservative counter-elite." "The political balance is beginning to shift. A significant cohort of power brokers in Silicon Valley and on Wall Street have publicly moved toward Trump in this election cycle. Some of the names are familiar: Elon Musk, Marc Andreessen, David Sacks, Bill Ackman. But hundreds of other influential figures are assembling behind the scenes to support Trump’s campaign." "Trump’s selection ... could prove to be one of the most consequential vice presidential choices in modern history." by Christopher Rufo Article: https://lnkd.in/easHj2WC City Journal
