Have always been a huge fan of Simon Jones of The Bonjour Agency and when I saw his session at Nicola Lutz's #NoFluffFest earlier in the year, I was itching to learn more about CapCut - a fantastic video editing tool that allows even the most amateur mobile phone user to take videos and edit them into something really cool!! ...and hey presto, Simon delivered again and has launched a series of training videos that talks you through, step by step how to edit, add music, add captions and a whole heap more! Honestly - super easy to follow, and great for producing video content on those every day moments in school so that you can share with parents and prospective parents. While I will always think there's a need for professional videos, there's also a need for quick every-day, snapshot videos and once you've got the skills, you can produce these quickly and easily! Especially useful for your international families who can't visit very often - don't let them miss out on the fun! Honestly, I wholeheartedly recommend this training for marketing teams in schools - check it out! #internationalmarketing #videocontent

I attended a conference in Las Vegas recently and as you can see I had a few cameras with me to capture and create content. Let me know if you would like to see some of it; I have some great shots on the presenters. It was #growwithvideo with Sean Cannell I learned a lot here and captured some great content. The reason I bring this up is because there was a central theme here. You grow your brand, your YouTube channel and your business with video. I have been to so many conferences, and many of them have been amazing, but few of them echoed this truth more. You need to create content as part of your marketing strategy and that content needs to have a plan. What I learned later after this event, was that there is a way to generate leads and grow your sales with back end funnels that give your target audience the opportunity to know like and trust you more. Learning this gives new meaning to video and content. Have you stopped posting content? Or are you posting here and there without a plan or a strategy? There is another way to do it and get results.

It’s been quiet behind the scenes at Beth Hicks Creative HQ… Partly because I took a week off to compete my horse. And partly because I want to make some significant changes to my marketing, and it’s taking time to create strategies for both my digital marketing and my photography businesses that work for me and my businesses but also really serve the community I’m building. And rightly so, a marketing strategy isn't something you should just brush over… Here are five things I’ve been asking myself whilst I've been going through this process: 1️⃣ How can I make this strategy fun? That's fun for me to implement, but also making the content fun, yet valuable for my community to consume. 2️⃣ How can I link to other platforms within my content? For example linking to a blog post, a podcast episode, my website or my email marketing within my social media posts, WITHOUT feeling to salesy or forceful (because that gives me the ick). 3️⃣ How can I link my different pieces of content? For example if I write a blog post, how can I repurpose and create links between that and the other content I create that week. Themes might be a good option here e.g. I create a blog post on repurposing content and my theme for that week a content is repurposing content. 4️⃣ What content will best serve my community? I want to be creating a community first strategy, so I need to make sure the content I create is super valuable to them. 5️⃣ And lastly, what content will make the most impact? For me as a business owner i.e. What will help me drive sales and conversions, and what content will be most impactful for my community? Obviously, there are other questions I’m asking myself too, but I keep coming back to these 5. Do you want to know more? Pop your questions in the comments and I’ll let you know my thoughts (heck, maybe I’ll use these Q’s for content inspiration 😉)!

Are YOU not getting enough Leads? How do you expect people to buy your service? Why would they trust you? Are you adding any Value? So You first need to show them that you can actually provide value. This will make them to trust you.... How do you do that? Free content. Choose a platform and Start uploading Educational content. The best platform for that in my experience is YouTube & LinkedIn because it's long-form, but if you are too shy to face the camera then you post content on LinkedIn too. Other platforms can work as well. The thing is you have to Educate Build Trust and then Sell P.S. If you’re struggling to build your personal brand on YouTube & LinkedIn then you can Book [1:1] consultation call and I’ll help you out. Repost if you found it helpful ♻. Follow me for more. "Are kids really learning when they're playing outside?" This question sparked a fascinating discussion with Julia Donnelly O’Neill, founder of the Toronto Nature School, during her Video Vault shoot. Here’s the thing: great branding isn’t just about showcasing what you do—it’s about overcoming objections before they even arise. Whether it’s a question about your services, skepticism over your methods, or a buying concern prospects might have, addressing these head-on builds trust and positions you as the authority in your field. It serves a similar function as an FAQ page on your website —brought to life through video. Success in organic social media marketing happens when you build a content library that guides viewers through every stage of the buyer’s journey, building awareness, developing trust, answering their questions, and nudging them toward action. While there are endless types of videos you could create, the real ROI comes from aligning your creativity with clear, intentional strategy. That’s where the Video Vault comes in—helping you produce months of strategic content in just 1-2 days of shooting. Welcome to my What's Wrong w/ Your LinkedIn Strategy Series - Part 1! Don't make fun of my visual. 🫣🤣 I'm a LinkedIn Business Coach, not a graphic designer. But if you need one, my girl Marissa Garcia of PixelPaz, can hook you up. 😉 Anywho, this series is going to help you identify opportunities with your LI strategy. Today's post addresses - YOU'RE POSTING AND NO ONE IS ENGAGING, LET ALONE HOPPING ON A SALES CALL WITH YOU. In this visual, you have your billboard aka content. But it's not attracting anyone. Why? Because you put your billboard in the middle of nowhere. Your messaging is falling on deaf ears. Only you (that cute little pink shop) see it. Thus, low engagement and definitely low to no clients. Here's how you solve that: -Start building your community aka connecting with your ICAs -Drive traffic to your billboard via engaging and valuable content that creates interest Let me know how this resonates with you. Stay tuned for part 2! #linkedinstrategy #businesscoach #attractionmarketing
